The herd
is the hero.

The five prehistoric animals of HERDFALL, isolated against a dark background.

HERDFALL is being developed as a focused survival journey for five prehistoric animals. Fire, flood, and predators threaten a collapsing canyon as you guide the entire herd from an elevated third-person view.

The route builds toward a final crossing and sanctuary. The ending reflects which animals make it through.

Explore the herd
The prehistoric herd forms a narrow column along a winding canyon trail.
A narrow, agile column

Flow threads tight gaps and bends. Fast steering comes with exposed flanks and a vulnerable rear.

Adult herd members gather around the juvenile as predators approach.
A protective ring

Hold places the adults around the juvenile. It trades speed for protection, but a missing member leaves a real gap.

Four adult prehistoric animals and one juvenile travel together through the canyon.
Five animals, one shared body

The adults carry distinct roles. The juvenile moves within the group and is never directly controlled.
